Canterbury Live concludes on 9 August 2026 at The St Lawrence Ground with Madness topping a bill steeped in 2 tone, ska and guitar-led British pop. Their 2 tone, new wave, pop and pop rock catalogue, soon to be revisited on “Hit Parade”, leads the final show. Cast add britpop, indie rock, jangle pop and power pop, drawing on eras from “All Change” to “Yeah Yeah Yeah”. The Beat bring 2 tone, ska, post-punk and new wave, while Ranking Jnr joins the ska-centred line-up. The Ordinary Boys round things off with britpop, closing the run in firmly guitar-driven, UK-centric style.
