Their mix of art punk, grime and electronic hip hop collides with Orbital’s ambient house, ambient techno and breakbeat foundations, giving the show a strong electronic undercurrent. Heartworms add a darker strand of alternative and gothic rock informed by post-punk, while Pengshui complete the running order. As the second stop of the tour, this Academy performance captures the core chemistry of the bill: politically charged vocals, dense electronics and shadowy guitar work.
