Formed in 1989, the duo have consistently pushed boundaries, earning a reputation for forward-thinking production and transformative live experiences. Their discography boasts hallmark projects such as “Optical Delusion” (2023) and “Thirty-Something” (2022), alongside the soundtrack for “The Pentaverate” Netflix series, underscoring their relevance and versatility within the electronic music landscape. With “A Beginner’s Guide” arriving in November 2024 and the single “Re-lush” released in May 2025, Orbital continue to shape the future of electronic music.

On the live circuit, Orbital’s influence is both historic and enduring. Recent performances include a headlining set at Concorde 2 in Brighton and their own celebrated “The Brown and Green Albums Live 2025” event at O2 Academy Brixton. They have also provided prominent support for Sleaford Mods on “THE DEMISE OF PLANET X” tour with shows at major venues such as Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom, Manchester’s Academy, Liverpool’s O2 Academy, and London’s O2 Academy Brixton, as well as international dates at 3Olympia in Dublin. In August 2025, they supported Faithless at Scarborough Open Air Theatre, further cementing their standing amongst heavyweight acts.
