Ibibio Sound Machine bring their fusion of disco, electro-funk and highlife to Rescue Rooms in Nottingham on 24 October 2026. Fronted by London-born Nigerian vocalist Eno Williams, the group channel West African funk and disco through sharp modern electro, creating a sound that connects classic dancefloor grooves with contemporary electronic bite. This Nottingham show lands as they work around releases including the albums "Pull the Rope" and "Chopping Mountain" and the single "Underappreciated", giving the set plenty of depth from across their catalogue. Ziyad Al-samman opens the gig, setting the stage for Ibibio Sound Machine’s rhythm-heavy performance.
