O2 Academy Glasgow hosts Thrown with Counterparts, No Cure and Heavensgate, spanning metalcore, hardcore punk and beatdown.
The O2 Academy Glasgow, located at 121 Eglinton Street, occupies the former New Bedford Cinema, which was rebuilt after a fire in 1932 and later reopened as a music venue in 2003. The venue preserves its original Art Deco features, such as ceiling designs, balcony boxes, and the proscenium arch. Since reopening, it has hosted a diverse range of events, including performances by Deacon Blue, Bryan Ferry, and the Sugababes during its launch week.
