Lizzy McAlpine brings The Over Country tour to O2 Academy Glasgow on 9 April 2027, drawing together her folk pop, indie folk and indie pop songwriting in a larger-scale setting. The Philadelphia-born singer-songwriter appears here with support from London four-piece Flyte, whose indie rock arrangements and close harmonies add a sharper edge to the bill. Opening the show, Srchr extends the line-up beyond McAlpine’s introspective songs and Flyte’s literate guitar work. Together, the three acts frame a night that moves between detailed storytelling, polished pop hooks and guitar-driven indie at one of Glasgow’s key Academy stages.
