Limelight 1 is located on Ormeau Avenue in Belfast and forms part of the Limelight complex, which also includes Limelight 2, Katy's Bar, and The Rock Garden outdoor terrace. The complex was purchased by MCD and Shine Productions in late 2011. After a significant refurbishment in 2012, the venue, previously known as Spring and Airbrake, was rebranded as Limelight 1.
