Redhills, officially known as Miners’ New Hall, is a Grade II listed building and the headquarters of the Durham Miners' Association, featuring Edwardian Baroque architecture and a debating chamber dubbed the 'Pitman's Parliament', crafted from Austrian oak in the style of a Methodist chapel; after a major restoration, it now serves as a centre for culture, learning, and social action.
