The Unthanks continue their In Winter tour at Durham Redhills Miners Hall on 4 December 2026, following the Kendal opener with another chamber folk and Christmas music performance. Their contemporary folk arrangements, drawn from the "In Winter" project and earlier albums, meet the acoustic character of the historic miners’ hall, emphasising voices, piano and strings. Slotted early in a December run that will move through abbeys, churches and town halls, this Durham show offers a North East staging of the seasonal set before the tour travels on to Hexham Abbey the following night.
