Truro Cathedral, located on St Mary's Street in Truro, South West England, is notable as the first Anglican cathedral constructed on a new site in England since Salisbury Cathedral in 1220. Designed by John Loughborough Pearson in the Gothic Revival style, it was built between 1880 and 1910. The building integrates the south aisle of the original 16th-century parish church of St Mary the Virgin, and its central tower and spire reach a height of 76 metres (250 feet).
