Ibibio Sound Machine bring their electronic Afro-funk to Concorde 2 in Brighton on 15 October 2026, blending West African highlife and funk with disco, electro and electro-funk. Fronted by Eno Williams, the group draw on the same dancefloor energy that runs through their releases, from albums like “Pull the Rope” to singles such as “Underappreciated”. With new material including the forthcoming album “Chopping Mountain” on Merge Records in their catalogue, this Brighton gig offers a focused hit of their rhythm-driven, synth-laced sound in an intimate setting at one of the city’s key seafront venues.
