The Selecter bring their 2 tone foundations and ska-charged new wave to Exeter Phoenix on 29 August 2026. Led by Pauline Black OBE with Charley “Aitch” Bembridge, the band draw on material from albums such as “Human Algebra”, “Daylight” and “Subculture”, folding sharp-edged alternative rock and indie rock into their original 2 tone sound. Their long history with British venues feeds into a live approach shaped by recordings like “A Live Injection” and “Algebra”, giving this Exeter gig a direct line to the band’s late-70s origins as well as their more recent studio work.
