Cala bring their contemporary Scottish trad sound to The Tolbooth in Stirling on 8 October 2026. Formed in 2020 and hailing from Inverness, the band balance rooted traditional playing with a more exploratory edge that has shaped releases such as debut single “Causeway” and the 2023 album “From the River”. Later tracks like “Two-stroke Wheelbarrow” and “Pillars” pushed their writing into bolder territory, and that same curiosity underpins their live shows. Following appearances at The Reeling, Festival Interceltique du Lorient and Under Canvas, this Stirling gig offers a focused look at their evolving material.
