The Selecter bring their 2 tone roots and ska-influenced alternative rock to The Fleece in Bristol on 10 September 2026. Formed in 1979, the band’s catalogue spans albums such as “Human Algebra”, “Daylight” and “Subculture”, with live recordings like “A Live Injection” underlining their onstage history. Led by Pauline Black OBE alongside Charley ‘Aitch’ Bembridge, they fuse sharp new wave edges with rhythmic ska grooves. Previous appearances with Madness and UB40 featuring Ali Campbell underline their long-running ties to British and Jamaican music culture, giving this Bristol show a strong link to the classic 2 tone sound.
