Cala bring their post-traditional Scottish sound home to An Seomar in Inverness on 5 September 2026. Formed in 2020, the Inverness outfit have built a reputation for reworking Scottish trad with bold, contemporary arrangements while keeping a clear line back to the source material. This An Seomar show comes in the wake of their self-titled second album, marking a productive spell ahead of their wider Scottish tour in October 2026. Expect intricate, folk-rooted tunes expanded into richer, exploratory soundscapes as Cala continue to push at the edges of the post-trad and contemporary folk world.
