Cala bring their contemporary Scottish trad sound to Stereo in Glasgow on 30 October 2026 for a one-off headline show. Formed in 2020 and rooted in Inverness, the band draw on Scottish folk traditions while pushing into new territory, reflecting the same adventurous spirit heard on their releases “Causeway”, “From the River”, “Two-stroke Wheelbarrow” and “Pillars”. Known from appearances at The Reeling, Festival Interceltique du Lorient, Under Canvas, The Gathering and Belladrum, Cala’s live sets balance driving tunes with reflective material, making this Glasgow date a focused chance to hear their evolving take on Scottish trad in an intimate setting.
