City Hall Sheffield becomes the next stage for Saxon’s Gods of Thunder World Tour Part 1 on 21 February 2027, following the Newcastle O2 City Hall show. Saxon return to their South Yorkshire heartland with a performance rooted in New Wave of British Heavy Metal and hard rock, drawing from a catalogue that spans UK Top 40 albums and recent releases like "Carpe Diem". Armored Saint continue in support, adding a US power metal slant with muscular riffs and melodic leads. The Sheffield date highlights the contrast between local NWOBHM heritage and American heavy metal stylings.
