O2 City Hall Newcastle hosts Saxon’s Gods of Thunder World Tour Part 1 on 20 February 2027, the night after their Manchester Apollo appearance. Saxon headline with a set steeped in NWOBHM history, from early 1980s breakthroughs through to recent work such as "Carpe Diem" and live material captured on "Eagles Over Hellfest". Armored Saint maintain continuity across the run, bringing tightly drilled US power metal arrangements and classic heavy metal tones as support. The Newcastle stop underlines the tour’s focus on riff‑driven songs, twin‑guitar interplay and an emphasis on traditional metal songwriting.
