Sam Fender heads to Etihad Stadium on 15 July 2027, opening a two-night Manchester stand near the close of the Proper Massive Stadium Tour ’27. Having already passed through Newcastle, Cardiff, London, Dublin and Edinburgh, he brings his alternative rock, heartland rock and indie rock mix to another football ground. Tracks from “People Watching”, alongside earlier songs such as “Seventeen Going Under”, are built out for the Etihad’s sweeping stands. As the penultimate stop on the run, this show sets up the tour’s closing night while underlining how thoroughly Fender’s catalogue now inhabits stadium spaces.
