The Etihad Stadium, situated at the Etihad Campus in Manchester, was originally known as the City of Manchester Stadium and was built for the 2002 Commonwealth Games. It became the home ground of Manchester City in 2003. The stadium was expanded in 2015, reaching a capacity of 55,097 seats. In 2023, further expansion began on the north stand, aiming to increase the total capacity to nearly 62,000 spectators.
