Orbital bring their influential ambient house and ambient techno sound to 3Olympia Theatre in Dublin, presenting a live show that leans into the duo’s atmospheric textures and propulsive electronics. Drawing on their long history in UK rave culture, they weave ambient soundscapes with breakbeat-driven passages and broader electronic grooves, creating a set that moves between meditative passages and harder-edged club energy. With decades of material to draw from, including recent work that extends their IDM-adjacent explorations, this performance highlights how their layered synth work and rhythmic shifts translate in a seated theatre setting as much as on the dancefloor.
