THE FERRET 20TH BIRTHDAY WEEKENDER and October & November Listings

Saturday, October 3, 2026 - The Ferret, Preston

On 3 October 2026 The Ferret leans into psychedelic rock and heavier edges, with Preston’s own Evil Blizzard topping a five-band bill. Known for their hallucinogenic rock and album “Rotting In The Belly Of The Whale”, they anchor a line-up that also includes Hawk Owl. Los Angeles metalcore outfit Dead Things add a sharper, more aggressive contrast, returning to a venue they know well from previous festival appearances. Anglo-Japanese psych rock duo The Dirt deepen the psych thread, while The Dave Shurr Duo round out the night. It is a dense, guitar-driven stop in the 20th Birthday Weekender.
