October Live Listings at Concorde 2, Brighton

Thursday, October 15, 2026 - Concorde 2, Brighton

• Ibibio Sound Machine

Ibibio Sound Machine bring their fusion of disco, electro, electro-funk and highlife to Concorde 2 on 15 October 2026, turning the October schedule towards dancefloor intensity. Led by Eno Williams, the group fold West African grooves into synth-driven arrangements, as heard on “Pull the Rope”, “The Black Notes” and the “Anyone Like You” EP. Positioned after Jake Xerxes Fussell’s Americana show and before Boris’s drone metal date, this gig forms the bright, rhythmic midpoint of a striking stylistic run. It is where Concorde 2’s club system is used less for distortion and more for deep, propulsive bass and percussion.
