Royal Blood’s second Barrowland appearance on 29 November keeps the focus on their blend of alternative rock, blues rock, garage rock and hard rock, giving Glasgow another dose of tightly wound riffs and rhythmic weight. Unpeople again supply the sharp edges, drawing on alternative metal, punk and alternative rock to thicken the low end and accelerate the tempo. The Xcerts re-open with melodic alternative rock, providing a tuneful through-line across both Barrowland dates. As the follow-up to the previous night, this show closes the Glasgow chapter of the tour before the move to Civic Hall.
