unpeople
Emerging from the United Kingdom’s alternative scene, unpeople are rapidly gaining recognition for their powerful blend of alternative metal and alternative rock. Since forming in 2023, the group has cultivated a distinctive sound, showcased through releases such as their self-titled EP released in April 2024 and notable singles including "smother", "waste", and "the garden". These recordings demonstrate a dynamic approach to songwriting, balancing raw intensity with melodic sophistication.
unpeople's commitment to delivering stirring live music experiences has seen them take the helm at respected venues like The Underworld in London, where their headlining set confirmed their stature within the UK alternative circuit. Their live prowess continues to propel them onto larger stages; in December 2026, unpeople are set to support Royal Blood at major venues including Brighton Centre and Olympia The Grand Hall in London, positioning them alongside some of the most prominent names in contemporary rock.
With further headline shows scheduled for early 2027, featuring venues such as Electric Ballroom, The Bodega, O2 Institute2, and Rebellion, unpeople are poised to expand their reach across the UK. For those seeking the vanguard of alternative metal and rock, following unpeople and keeping an eye on their upcoming gigs is essential.
