Ibibio Sound Machine open their two-night Brudenell Social Club run on 20 November 2026, bringing their fusion of disco, electro, electro-funk and highlife to the Leeds venue. Drawing on the Afro-electronic sound heard on their album “Pull the Rope” and singles like “Black Notes” and “Underappreciated”, the group mix West African funk and disco with sharp electronic edges. Tracks such as “Concept of Love”, “Pull the Rope” and “All That You Want” are built for a live setting, with synths, horns and rhythm section driving their dancefloor-focused arrangements.
