Playhouse Theatre Whitley Bay welcomes Michael Starring Ben on 24 January 2027, the day after Walsall Arena. This coastal theatre date brings the Michael Jackson tribute to the north-east, ahead of a return to New Theatre Cardiff and then The Anvil Basingstoke. Whitley Bay’s auditorium provides an intimate frame for a production that has also proven itself in large rooms such as Bradford Live and Opera House Blackpool. Here, the focus narrows onto Jackson’s songs, vocals and choreography, with the band adapting to the Playhouse’s scale before the route switches back to Wales and then down to Hampshire.
