The final INDIE By The Sea performance at Winter Gardens on 2 May 2027 closes the Blackpool weekender with another heavyweight indie line-up. Ocean Colour Scene again lead with britpop, indie rock and mod revival cuts, flanked by Peter Hook & The Light’s post-punk, new wave and alternative dance. Embrace continue the alternative rock thread, while Black Grape’s alternative dance and alternative hip hop add a different rhythmic pull. The Wedding Present, Cud and Space keep indie rock at the centre, and The Primitives supply C86-rooted indie pop, with Paul Draper, Ben Ottewell, James Walsh, Mark Morriss, Northside and Ian Prowse completing the show.
