On 24 January 2027, O2 Academy Glasgow hosts Alestorm’s home-country stop on their UK and Ireland run. The band’s folk metal and power metal material takes on added resonance in Scotland, flanked by Battle Beast’s blend of arena rock, hard rock and heavy metal. Wizardthrone open the show, bringing their Extreme Wizard Metal aesthetic, forged from blackened and symphonic influences, into the Academy setting. Positioned in the latter half of the 15-date tour and following Dundee, this gig underlines the Scottish connection that runs through both Alestorm and Wizardthrone while maintaining the tour’s established metal framework.
