Fronted by Eno Williams, the group fold disco, electro, electro-funk and highlife into a high-energy live set, drawing on records such as “Pull the Rope” and singles like “Black Notes” and “Underappreciated”. With rhythms shaped by tracks including “Afo Ken Doko Mien”, “Anyone Like You” and “Basquiat”, this Brudenell date widens the series’ palette beyond folk and garage rock into dancefloor-driven, West African-inflected electronics ahead of a second night at the same venue.
