On 30 January, Independent Venue Week 2026 at The Castle turns its focus to Ugly Ozo, the musical project of Jess Baker. Following appearances supporting Alien Chicks at The 100 Club and previous headline work at this same room, Ugly Ozo returns for a dedicated night within the run. The project’s recorded output, including the EP "stargirl" and singles such as "remains", feeds into a live set that favours emotive songwriting and intimate dynamics. Slotted mid-run, this performance offers a concentrated look at a single artist working through a growing body of material.
