A key arts centre on the March run, the venue is well suited to Oldfield’s blend of ambient, avant-garde and classical crossover writing. As the tour turns back east towards Guildford, Milton Keynes and Cambridge, this Poole show places the Tubular Bells trilogy in a contemporary main theatre, giving its shifting themes, dynamic surges and layered instrumentation room to resonate clearly.
