The Beat bring the Dance Crazed Too UK tour to Tramshed in Cardiff on 27 October 2026, drawing on the 2 tone, ska, new wave and post-punk sound they helped define. Formed in Birmingham in 1979 and also known as The English Beat, the band forged a key place in British ska with socially charged lyrics and dancefloor-friendly rhythms. Their catalogue stretches from early anthems to the live release "Live at the Roundhouse" and the compilation "The Beat at the BBC". After recent high-profile support for Madness, this Tramshed gig focuses firmly on their enduring 2 tone legacy.
