Ibibio Sound Machine bring their fusion of disco, electro, electro-funk and highlife to Future Yard in Birkenhead on 10 October 2026. Fronted by Nigerian singer Eno Williams, the London-based group draw on the golden era of West African funk while folding in contemporary electronic production and dancefloor-driven grooves. Their set is likely to lean on material from releases such as the 2024 album “Pull the Rope” and the EPs “Anyone Like You” and “The Black Notes”, alongside earlier cuts. Expect tightly wound rhythms, vivid synth lines and call-and-response vocals matched to Future Yard’s intimate room.
