The Meffs

Essex noise duo

Emerging from Essex with undeniable energy and a razor-sharp edge, The Meffs have been carving out a distinctive presence on the British live music scene since 2019. Known for their exhilarating performances and fiercely independent spirit, this duo consistently brings raw noise and political bite to every gig. Their discography reflects this momentum, with the 2023 album "Broken Britain Pt. I & II" and the debut self-titled album in 2020, leading up to the anticipated release of "What A Life" set for September 2024—each project capturing their uncompromising approach and urgency.

The Meffs’ tireless commitment to live music is evident from their recent run of standout gigs across the UK. Highlights from 2026 include headline appearances at venues such as Bootleg Social in Blackpool and Charter Hall in Colchester for MEFF FEST. Their tours have also seen them supporting iconic acts: they brought their dynamic sound to the stage as support for Joan Jett and the Blackhearts at O2 Academy Leeds and joined punk legends Stiff Little Fingers on the Raise Your Voice Tour at celebrated venues including the Roundhouse in London and Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow. Their slot at Manchester Academy for North West Calling 2026 placed them alongside some of punk’s most respected names.

With a series of headline shows scheduled throughout March 2027 at venues like O2 Academy Islington, Strange Brew in Bristol, and Rescue Rooms in Nottingham, The Meffs remain a vital force on the UK gig circuit. For anyone passionate about contemporary British punk and the energy of live concerts, following The Meffs is essential—be sure to keep an eye on their upcoming gigs and catch them on stage soon.
