Manchester Indie-Pop Band
Manchester indie rock band M60 have steadily carved out a place in the UK’s vibrant live music scene since their formation in 2015. Originating from various towns across Greater Manchester, the four-piece—fronted by Matthew Morton (vocals/guitar), Bradley Smith (drums), Max Phillips (bass), and later joined by Owen Baldwin (lead guitar) in 2025—are renowned for their energetic, guitar-driven sound, distinguished by an unmistakable Mancunian flair. With standout tracks such as “Fade Away,” “I Wanna Go,” and “Leave Today,” M60 blend youthful exuberance with the seasoned craft of melodic indie pop songwriting.
The band’s presence on stage is equally formidable. Their 2026 UK tour saw M60 headline a string of sold out shows in noted venues including Manchester’s O2 Ritz, Oslo in London, Rescue Rooms in Nottingham, and Nice N Sleazy in Glasgow, spotlighting their growing popularity. Their live sets have been lauded for infectious energy and passionate performances, contributing to a strong reputation among discerning gig-goers. M60 also made their mark on the festival circuit: in May 2026, they joined the billing at Neighbourhood Weekender in Warrington, supporting festival headliners Blossoms alongside acts like DMA’s, Razorlight, and Melanie C.
The group’s recent discography features the single “Lemonade,” set for release in October 2025, and the 2023 EP “How Did You Get There?”—demonstrating a commitment to both creative evolution and delivering fresh music. For fans of indie-pop and guitar-driven anthems, following M60 ensures you’ll be the first to know about tour dates and new gigs as they continue to captivate audiences nationwide.
