M60

Manchester Indie-Pop Band

M60 are a Manchester indie rock band whose high-energy, guitar-driven sound and distinctive Mancunian edge have seen them rise rapidly within the UK live music circuit. Formed in 2015 by school friends Matthew Morton (vocals/guitar) and Bradley Smith (drums), the lineup expanded to include Max Phillips on bass in 2021 and Owen Baldwin on lead guitar in 2025, cementing their four-piece dynamic. Their catalogue showcases anthemic tracks, including “Fade Away” and the crowd-favourite “I Don’t Mind”, which highlight their melodic sensibility and knack for infectious hooks. M60’s five UK tours to date have included sell-out performances at venues such as Gorilla and Academy 2 in Manchester, culminating in a major sold-out show at Manchester’s New Century Hall in April 2025.

Recent gigs reflect their growing reputation, with M60 supporting Deco at the In the Know Festival in Sheffield and sharing the stage with The Clause at Portsmouth’s Wedgewood Rooms for the Golden Touch event. Their drive and live prowess have earned them accolades for delivering performances that are both energetic and polished. With the single “Lemonade” set for release in October 2025 and a well-received EP “How Did You Get There?” (2023) already under their belt, their discography continues to evolve with tracks like “Watching the Time Go” and “I Wanna Go” adding to their indie-pop appeal.

Looking ahead, M60 are set to headline their own UK tour in spring 2026, with concerts at iconic venues including Manchester’s O2 Ritz, Glasgow’s Nice N Sleazy, and The Grove in Newcastle. For fans of indie rock searching for dynamic gigs and memorable live shows, be sure to follow M60 and stay up to date with their forthcoming tour dates and releases.
