Longheads

Longheads are a South London-based five-piece known for their potent fusion of heavy psych, modern stoner doom, krautrock, and 70s proto-metal. Originally from Norfolk, the group comprises Sam Mitchell (bass & vocals), Al Bishop (guitar), Nick Oakes (drums), Benjamin Reeve (guitar), and Mitchell Corrigan (synths & vocals). Their dynamic sound is distinguished by complex compositions and a fierce energy, both in the recording studio and in their live music performances.

The band’s discography showcases a commitment to evolution and artistic depth. Their 2022 EP, "Mars Doesn't Feel Like Home Anymore," built upon the momentum of earlier releases, while singles such as "One Step Further" and "Archaos" have further cemented their position within the contemporary psych scene. Looking ahead, Longheads are set to release the album "Layers of Wax" in November 2024, anticipated to be a significant milestone in their catalogue.

Live music fans recently caught Longheads delivering an electrifying performance at The Canteen in England, where they took to the stage as a support act for Pocket Sun during the Down Stokes event in October 2025. For those eager to experience their mind-bending concerts and stay updated on gig and tour dates, be sure to follow Longheads and keep an eye out for their next shows.
