Heaven 17

Heaven 17 stand as icons of the British electronic and dance-rock scene, originally emerging from Sheffield’s “new romantic” movement in 1980. Renowned for their esoteric blend of electronic textures and socially conscious songwriting, the group’s influence resonates across decades of innovative music. Their discography is distinguished by albums such as "Bonus Tracks" and "Special Fortified Dance Mixes to Enhance Danceability," both released in 2022, and classics like "Play to Win: The Virgin Years," confirming their enduring presence within the genre.

Live performance remains at the core of Heaven 17’s artistry. In the past year, they headlined shows at respected UK venues including O2 Academy Bristol, O2 Empire Shepherd’s Bush, and The Drill in Lincoln. They also joined celebrated headliners Holly Johnson and ABC as a support act at Scarborough Open Air Theatre, showcasing their continued relevance on sizeable stages. Their live concerts are widely regarded as immersive experiences, effortlessly fusing their signature dance-rock grooves with the nostalgic edge of new romanticism.

Looking further ahead, Heaven 17 will support Marc Almond at the Blackpool 80s Weekender in September 2027 and headline a string of shows commemorating 45 years of "Penthouse and Pavement" at major venues across the UK in October 2026.
