Trio of Irish contemporary folk musicians

Amble are a contemporary Irish folk trio comprising Robbie Cunningham, Oisín McCaffrey, and Ross McNerney. Formed in 2022, the group has quickly become a resonant voice in Ireland’s thriving folk music scene, channelling both the tradition and new possibilities within the genre. Their artistry is reflected in an expressive body of work, including singles such as "Full Circle", "Lonely Island", and "Little White Chapel", along with the EP "The Commons" released in November 2024.

Demonstrating their appeal on the live circuit, Amble headlined the O2 Empire in London's Shepherd's Bush in November 2025, cementing their presence as standout performers in the live music space. In July 2025, the trio also appeared at TRNSMT festival in Glasgow, where they supported a stellar main lineup headlined by Biffy Clyro. Amble’s festival and headline gigs showcase their commitment to bringing contemporary Irish folk to an ever-expanding audience, capturing listeners with heartfelt lyricism and deft musicianship.
