Whelan's is a well-known live music venue and pub in central Dublin, featuring several spaces including the Main Venue, Upstairs, The Parlour, Front Bar, and Little Whelan's, with the main area accommodating up to 450 people standing. Hosting live music and indie club nights every night of the week, it has been a significant part of the city's music scene since opening in 1989.
