Housed in a historic 1820s building that previously served as a courthouse and town hall before conversion to a cinema, Town Hall Theatre is now a municipal venue featuring a 400-seat main auditorium and a 52-seat studio space. Managed by Galway City Council, it presents a diverse year-round programme including theatre, concerts, dance, film, comedy, and family shows, and plays a central role in Galway’s key festivals and cultural events.
