Tolhuistuin is a cultural hub on the bank of the IJ river in Amsterdam North, offering 18,000 square metres of space that includes indoor and outdoor stages, an idyllic garden, a restaurant, a Reading House, and a hip-hop school. The venue, housed in a former Shell research centre, opened in 2014 and features the main concert hall, Paradiso Noord, which holds up to 550 people standing.
