
The Trades Club is an independent socialist members cooperative, bar, and music venue located in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire. Built in 1924 as a joint enterprise by local trade unions, it was revitalized in 1982. The venue features an intimate live room and has hosted performances by notable artists including Patti Smith, Nico, The Fall, Edwyn Collins, Laura Marling, Buzzcocks, and Lee Scratch Perry. In 2025, The Trades Club was named Inspirational Venue Of The Year at the Northern Music Awards.
