About

The Spice of Life is a historic pub at Cambridge Circus in London's Charing Cross Road, dating back to at least 1759 and formerly known as The Scots Hoose. It was renowned in the 1950s and 1960s for its influential upstairs folk club, which hosted major artists of the folk revival, and later became popular with rock musicians and comedians. The venue continues to reflect its rich musical heritage and central Soho setting.
