The Night Owl is a small, intimate live music venue in Birmingham’s Digbeth Creative Quarter, purpose-built for Northern Soul and Motown when it opened in 2015. While soul remains central, its programme now spans retro genres including funk, ska, disco, garage, psychedelia, rock and roll, Britpop, and indie, hosting DJs and live tribute acts. The venue is notable for its sprung wooden dancefloor designed for energetic dancing and for its blend of vintage-inspired interiors and hand-painted paisley murals. The DJ booth is equipped for both vinyl and digital sets with high-quality sound.
