The Met, located on Market Street in Bury, is recognised nationally for its specialist folk music programme and is operated by Bury Metropolitan Arts Association, a registered charity supported by Arts Council England and Bury Council. The venue underwent a £4.6 million refurbishment completed in 2016, which enhanced its performance spaces and facilities.
