Teatro Dante Alighieri, situated on Via Angelo Mariani in Ravenna, serves as the main theatre of the city. Inaugurated on 15 May 1852, it was designed by the Venetian architects Tomaso and Giovan Batista Meduna, who were also involved in the restoration of Venice’s La Fenice. The venue hosts a range of cultural events, including concerts, operas, ballets, and contemporary music performances, and is an important site for the annual Ravenna Festival.
