Sub 89, located on Friar Street in Reading, is an underground club and live music venue. It regularly presents a variety of live music, comedy, and club nights. Since its opening in October 2009 with a show by Chase and Status, Sub 89 has hosted performances from artists such as Gary Numan, 2manydj's, Babyshambles, Napalm Death, Ed Sheeran, Skindred, and others.
