The Steel Yard is a non-profit industrial art centre and shared studio situated in Providence, Rhode Island. It offers courses and educational programmes in blacksmithing, welding, jewellery, foundry, and ceramics. The venue hosts an artist residency programme for emerging and mid-level artists, providing full access to studios and equipment. Its public projects department fabricates practical, design-focused public art such as bike racks, benches, and fences for installation across Southeastern New England. The Steel Yard's 3.8-acre campus is also used for public and private events, including the annual Halloween Iron Pour.
