The Steel Yard is a non-profit industrial art centre and shared studio on a 3.8-acre campus in Providence, offering maker spaces, public art fabrication, and educational programmes in blacksmithing, welding, ceramics, and more. Founded in a former steel complex, it also supports artist residencies and job training, and regularly hosts unique public and private events such as its annual Iron Pour.
