The State Theatre is a historic venue in Ithaca featuring Moorish and Renaissance Revival architectural elements, with a capacity of around 1,600. Hosting over 75 events annually, its diverse programme includes concerts, theatre, comedy, dance, classic films, readings, and community performances. Originally transformed from an auto dealership in 1928, it remains the last historic performing arts theatre in Tompkins County and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
